Spa Hours

Spa Reservations and Cancellations
We recommend booking your spa services in advance by calling 866-331-ROCK or 505-954-9630. As a courtesy to our other guests and therapists, 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment is required to avoid being charged for the scheduled treatment or service. For a package cancellation, a 48-hour notice is required. Please note that we strictly adhere to our spa cancellation policy.

Price
Use of RockResorts Spa^TM  and its Fitness Center are complimentary to hotel guests. The daily fee for non-hotel guests is $35 and includes use of all spa and fitness room facilities. This fee is waived, however, with the purchase of any spa treatment.

When to Arrive
We suggest arriving 20 to 30 minutes prior to your appointment to allow ample time to check-in, change, and enjoy a shower or steam. Please note that, should you arrive late, your treatment will end as previously scheduled. This is a courtesy to the next guest.

What to Wear
We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and do not bring your jewelry or valuables to the spa.  Guest rooms have safes. A spa robe and slippers will be provided for your treatment. You may prefer to fully disrobe for your treatment, as our therapists are professionally trained in proper draping techniques to ensure your privacy and comfort. However, you may wear undergarments or a bathing suit if you wish.

Special Requests or Conditions
When making your reservation, please tell us if you prefer a male or female therapist: we will do our best to accomodate your request depending upon availability.  Please let your therapist know if you have any special physical or medical needs, conditions, or considerations. For your safety and well-being, we highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to, during, or immediately following spa treatments. We also recommend that you avoid immediate exposure to the sun after skin-care therapy, and that you refrain from shaving after exfoliation treatments.

Considerations for Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, we suggest avoiding treatments using heat and or deep pressure, as well as the steam rooms, heated pool and hot tub.  The majority of our services can be received by mothers-to-be.  Please let us know if you are expecting so that the appropriate modifcations can be made to your treatment.

Considerations for Altitude
Both the cardiovascular and respiratory systems work harder than ususal at higher altitudes.  Because Santa Fe is at an elevation of 7,000 feet, we recommend that you slow your pace while working out, drink plenty of water and limit time in the steam room and heated pool.

Requests for Therapists
Please state your preference for a male or female therapist when you make your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your request according to availability.

Standard Gratuities and Tipping Policy
Tipping is not included in the treatment cost. However, a gratuity of 15% to 20% is typical and much appreciated. If you are a  guest at the hotel, you may charge gratuities to your room or request an envelope from the spa to be given to the therapist.

Age Requirements
RockResorts Spa is an adults-only facility.  Guests must be at least 18 years of age to receive spa treatments and services.

Facilities
The 4,500-square-foot RockResorts Spa at La Posada de Santa Fe includes a treatment area featuring five massage rooms, two facial rooms, and one spa wet room. The spa offers a comprehensive selection of treatments, day packages  and salon work, including complete hair and nail treatments. The spa is a pager-free, cell phone-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free environment.

Gratuities
Additional gratuities may be made at your discretion. 20% gratuity is customary for exceptional service.
